In wake of one of the most taxing years in the history of modern humanity, Google released a new ad a couple weeks ago titled “Year in Search”. I found the ad really beautiful and definitely not exploitative/manipulative of people’s emotions as we continue to suffer through hard times. Simply put, it really inspired me. So, for this week, I decided to piggyback off of Google’s ideas and show you my year in search, with screenshots of various things I searched for throughout the year. I think it serves as a really unique time capsule and glimpse into what life was like in this crazy year for all of us. Enjoy.
